EURON training activities focus on acquisition of specific scientific and technological competencies in research, as well as on complementary skills such as management, ethics and scientific communication. Training within our school is offered both via individual mentoring and via coordinated and integrated courses organized by the participating universities.
As an established training site in the Marie Curie Programs of the EU (FP5 and FP6) EURON has invested in an extensive international educational PhD program that offers opportunities for PhD students to be trained in different laboratories of the academic partners. The PhD courses and workshops reflect the expertise of the different EURON partners. The scientific collaboration between partner universities is evidenced by joint publications and joint PhD degrees. The educational program of EURON is officially recognized in the member countries. In addition, EURON partner universities commit themselves to meet future challenges in the field of neuroscience education by the realization of a joint Master program: European Master’s Degree in Translational Neuroscience (EMTN).
