Research

Euron research is organized into three research lines

Basic Neuroscience
The focus is on the neuroanatomical, pharmacological, physiological and behavioural aspects of development and aging.

Cognitive Neuroscience
The focus is on brain mechanisms and neurocognitive (dys)function underlying performance and behaviour in normal, sub-clinical and pathological conditions.

Clinical Neuroscience
The research centers on brain behaviour mechanisms and psychopathology through which interactions between individuals and their environments contribute to the development of major psychiatric disorders and somatic co-morbidity. Approaches include epidemiological studies in the community, intensive monitoring of individuals in their natural environments, controlled experiments, and clinical interventions.

More about the exact research topics, the research groups and PhD projects will be presented on the website within a short time.
